Boss Burgers

Boss Burgers are a simple, satisfying BBQ favorite, combining well-seasoned beef with high-heat grilling for a juicy center and nicely browned exterior.

The QUIK-FIRE Recipe - Boss Burgers

		Prepare BBQ (oven lid down), preheat to 230 deg F. Mix and crunch all the ingredients together. Use the Bread Crumbs as required to bind and lighten the mixture. Divide into four (4) balls, then gently, and lightly mold and pack each burger together into smallish balls (baseball/cricket) sized shapes. Place in the BBQ "oven" and roast for 20 minutes, which should leave the middle slightly pink and the outside nice and crispy. Serve with a griddled bun, a little salad, some gherkins, tomato salsa, a pint of Guinness and a bottle of Ketchup. Howzat! (for the cricketers among us). Also you can top with a huge amount of Cheddar cheese and homemade tomato relish. NOTE The meat balls can be flattened to make a traditional burger, or squeezed down to any shape you require.

1 Kg	Minced (ground) Beef
2	Red Onions (medium size and finely chopped.)
2	Eggs
1 to 2 handfuls	Bread Crumbs
1 Tablespoon	Coriander Seeds (crushed)
1 small pinch	Cumin Seeds
1 heaped Teaspoon	Dijon Mustard
	Salt & freshly ground Black Pepper


NOTE It is also nice when Worcestershire Sauce is added as an ingredient.
